Welcome to Stable Lodge
Stable Lodge is situated 6 miles from Canterbury on the edge of the picturesque village of Petham. Within a conservation area and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Petham boasts a stunning downland location.

Petham is a small, quiet village, useful as an overnight stop on your way to the Continent – whether by ferry from Dover or high-speed train from Ashford. It is a ten minute drive from Canterbury and is in the depths of the countryside. Bluebell woods abound. Yockletts Bank is famed for orchids. The Canterbury bus (#620) stops at the driveway three times a day.

Ideally situated for walks along the North Downs Way, on the edge of the ancient Earley Wood, 20 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and close to numerous, excellent country pubs and Canterbury and Wye's good restaurants, yet in a peaceful and tranquil setting, Stable Lodge is perfect for that relaxing break.
